Writing Center Hours Spring 2024 [PDF]
Please contact the e-Writing Center Consultant on duty by e-mail during the designated hours listed in the schedule above.
The on-campus Writing Center is available during the designated hours posted in the schedule and operates on a walk-in basis.

Writing Center Consultants will not be available:
Monday, January 15 (Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday)
Tuesday - Friday (March 5-8) – Spring Break
Monday, April 1 (Easter holiday)

The on-campus Writing Center and e-Writing Center will also be closed whenever RCC is closed due to inclement weather.

What We Do

The Writing Center is a free service designed for currently enrolled RCC students who desire feedback, assistance, and guidance with college-level writing.
The Writing Center offers assistance through each phase of the writing process – from prewriting to revision.
Students can also receive help with MLA and APA documentation styles.
The Writing Center is staffed by qualified professionals at RCC.
The e-Writing Center operates by e-mail. Students must use their RCC e-mail address and include the following: a brief subject in the SUBJECT or RE line; a message with specific questions; the course/instructor information; a description of what the writing assignment entails; and draft (attached).

The Writing Center is staffed by full-time English faculty and other qualified professionals at RCC. Writing Center consultants work one-on-one with students to coach them through the writing process.
