About Learning Express Library

Each of the following Centers offers practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, and many other resources. 

  • High School - eBooks, instantly scored multiple-choice tests, essay practice, exercises, and interactive lessons to help build your skills for classes, assignments, quizzes, and important exams
  • College Preparation - learning courses, eBooks, and instantly scored practice tests for college entrance & placement exams, and writing skills for admissions essays
  • College Students - eBooks, instantly scored practice tests, and interactive lessons for public speaking, math, reading, science, and writing
  • Computer Software Tutorials - Dreamweaver, Adobe (Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (versions 2033-2010 for Windows & Macintosh)
  • GED Preparation - Everything you need to pass the tests. Here, you'll find learning courses in every GED subject, as well as instantly scored practice tests and essays just like the official exams.
  • Workplace Skills Improvement - Business writing, job search, resumes, interviewing, TOEIC preparation

How to access & use Learning Express Library

 Use this link access Learning Express.


NOTE: To use LearningExpress from off-campus, you will need a password that you can obtain by:

  • contacting your instructor
  • contacting the library either in-person, by phone (336-633-0204) or by email: library@randolph.edu


1.      When prompted, select RCC and then enter the password

2.      Click on “Register” if you are a New User. (If you have already registered with Learning Express, enter your Username & Password, then select "Login").

3.      Enter a Username and Password of your choice (library card number is NOT required), verify your password, and then click the "Continue" button. Please make a note of your password for future reference.

4.      Select the desired Learning Center from the list of available resources on the left side of the screen (for example, “GED Preparation”).

5.      Click on a category on the right to view a list of resources. To view more specific information on a test or course, click on its name.

6.      When you have decided which course/test to take, click on the “Add to My Center” link.  A link for “My Center” is also available at the top right  corner of the screen.

7.      Select “Start This Test Now!” or “Start This Course Now!”. On the next screen, the instructions page appears. After reading the instructions, select “Start” at the bottom of the page.

8.      Proceed with the course/test; you will receive results and analysis upon completion of a test by selecting “Score My Test.” Selecting “Finish Later” saves the completed portion in your account, which can be retrieved by later by clicking “My Account.”

9.      When you complete a test, you may select “Score My Test.” Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select “View Answers,” where you will receive an analysis of the right and wrong answers

10.  When you are finished, simply click on the "Sign Out" link in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
