Per the Films on Demand Digital License Agreement

  • Users may make videos, segments, or playlists freely available for viewing by authorized users within a secure environment using approved authentication procedures.
  • Links may be posted on a learning management system, institutional website, or online card catalog, provided these are accessible only to authorized users.
  • Users are prohibited from making a video or any part thereof available to any person or organization that is not an authorized user. This includes websites such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other publicly accessible electronic networks, blogs, forums, and social networking services.


  • A permalink is a permanent static hyperlink to a particular web page. Title, LTI, and Custom Segment URLs.
  • Use permalinks to share videos and segments in Moodle, PowerPoint slides, and email.
  • When using Films Demand you may be prompted to enter your MyRCC username and password.

Sharing Videos

Embed Code

  • Use for embedding videos, a public webpage, a PowerPoint presentation, or Word document where users have not yet verified their affiliation with RCC.

  • Users will be prompted to enter their MyRCC username and password if accessing the video from a non-RCC computer.

  • If a video is embedded into a Moodle course by an instructor, a username and password should not be required.

LTI Link

  • Use for inserting video links in Moodle.

  • Users will NOT receive a login prompt when playing the video in Moodle.
