The purpose of the Armadillo Equality Club is to provide an on-campus safe haven for particularly, but not exclusive to, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender students, along with allies or those who may be questioning their place.
The Armadillo Equality Club hopes to educate the student body about resources, support services, and volunteer opportunities on campus and in the local area as they relate to the LGBT community as well as the promotion of campus-wide discussion of the state of civil rights and the progress of equality.
The Armadillo Equality Club works to orchestrate on-campus events, activities, and demonstrations that fulfill its goals to create opportunities for students as they pertain to the LGBT community.
