What We Do
The e-Writing Center is a free service designed for currently enrolled RCC students who desire feedback, assistance, and guidance with college-level writing.
The Writing Center offers assistance through each phase of the writing process – from prewriting to revision.
Students can also receive help with MLA and APA documentation styles.
The e-Writing Center is staffed by qualified professionals at RCC.
The e-Writing Center operates by e-mail. Students must use their RCC e-mail address and include the following: a brief subject in the SUBJECT or RE line; a message with specific questions; the course/instructor information; a description of what the writing assignment entails; and draft (attached).
For proofreading assistance, please go to Smarthinking via Moodle.
The Writing Center is staffed by full-time English faculty and other qualified professionals at RCC. Writing Center consultants work one-on-one with students to coach them through the writing process.
