Lab Assistants are available to:
  • provide printing assistance
  • resolve software or hardware related conflicts
  • provide minimal assistance with software applications
  • provide resource information
  • monitor computer use

Computers & Printing

  • Pease don't bring drinks and food into the computer lab. 
  • The Lab has 28 computers and is designed as a quiet area for students to work on their courses. Please make and take all phone calls in the LRC Lobby.
  • Once you log-off a computer, your work will not be saved. We suggest using a USB, OneDrive, Google Docs or email  to save your work.
  • The Training Area of the Lab has 10 computers that can be reserved for groups by e-mailing the library.
  • Black & white computer printouts cost $.05 each and color printouts cost $.20 each.
  • Please note that the Library does not receive any portion of student technology fees to purchase printing supplies.
  • Curriculum students are credited $5 each semester for printing in the library. Credits don’t roll over. Login using MyRCC username and password. NOTE: The library does not receive any portion of student technology fees to purchase printing supplies.

  • Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
  • Web browsers Mozilla Firefox (recommended), Internet Explorer, Google Chrome
  • Flatbed scanner
  • Color and black & white printers

Course specific software is subject to change as curriculums change. If there's a specific software you need for a course, please email the library.
